This weekend I helped with a craft show to raise money for Project Linus. It was one of the most exhausting, wonderful things I have done. It always feels good to help raise money for such an excellent cause, but one of the neatest things from this past weekend was all the wonderful ladies I met.
One of the ladies I met was Brenda, who has a blog called Recycled Moms-Raising Grandchildren. I get thrilled any time I meet someone who knows what a blog is let alone has one. So, as you can imagine I had am great time talking to her throughout the craft show.
Not only is her blog a wonderful resource for grandmothers, but she has written a book Calvin Compost in Organic City. As soon as I heard this, I thought what a perfect thing to share with you for Earth Day. I can’t think of a better way to talk to our kids about being responsible to our Earth, through composting, than with the help of Calvin the earthworm. I can’t wait to curl up on the couch and read this to the little mister.
I hope you will check out more about this earthworm’s adventure.
Happy Earth Day!
Brenda
Thank you Brenna. Calvin and I have so much fun. I appreciate you mentioning him for Earth Day. You are so wonderful.
