Hey y’all! I’m so happy to be here guest posting for Brenna! I absolutely adore her & her blog! In case we haven’t met, I’m Jaime, the wife & momma behind Mom’s Test Kitchen ~ my little recipe corner of the blog-o-sphere.
Hi {again}, my name’s Jaime and I’m a popcorn addict. I can eat popcorn every.single.day. And now that I’ve made this popcorn, I’m pretty sure things are going to get worse. This is the crack level of popcorn.
Plus it’s so stinkin’ easy! This would be a great snack to make with the kiddos ~ it’s easy enough for the older kids to make themselves! Or feel free to hoard it all for yourself! Mom’s need nap time treats too! 🙂
- 1 bag
microwave popcorn, popped & unpopped kernels removed - 1/4 cup
butter, melted - 1/4 cup
brown sugar - salt
Cooking Directions
- Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.
- Pour popped popcorn onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
- In the meantime, melt the butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium low heat. Pour the melted butter mixture onto the baking sheet over the popped popcorn. Stir until evenly distributed. Season with salt.
- Bake for 10 minutes, stirring after the first 5 minutes.
I am not sure how Jaime knows about my nap time snack, AKA my favorite time of the day. Well, now that the secret is out about my daily indulging, I think I might have to go make some of this popcorn right now.
Thank you so much, Jaime, for not only helping me, but doing it on such short notice. You are wonderful! All of your recipes are fantastic and I can’t wait to make my way through your collection.

It sounds easy and yummy!! Have you ever tried popcorn and chocolate? Some people say it taste amazing but I don’t know… I’m not so sure about trying it lol.
brenna
No, I haven’t tried that either, Mariely. My favorite combo is cheddar and caramel, and I don’t even care for caramel that much, but I had it while pregnant and was hooked.
Holly
oh wow, this looks great! I may have to try this the next time my little bear is asking for pop corn!
