As some of you may know, this week I have been attending Online BlogCon. I don’t think there are enough words to express how much I have enjoyed and learned from this conference. We had awesome speakers. But, Dorthy and Ashton who put on the conference, were probably the highlight of the conference. I came away so inspired by them. I can’t wait to share with you what I learned and what this means for Life After Laundry.
Something that no one expected, not even Dorthy and Ashton, is how much of a bond everyone from the conference would form. Through Our Online BlogCon Facebook Group I have met so many wonderful bloggers. We have shared stories, achievements and even some of our discouragements. From the very beginning, it has been a welcoming place where we can go to talk about our passion for blogging, no matter what it is. I know that I myself have been on there asking for advice and was overwhelmed with the outreach of these ladies. I am so happy to have had the opportunity to meet all of these wonderful women, many to whom I consider friends now. *Thank you Sara for inviting me along.*
To give you an example of how wonderful all the ladies have been. Krista from the Tumbleweed Contessa has decided to give up her Friday blog post to us Online BlogCon members and to help us share our blogs. I was so excited when she sent out the invitation I jumped at the chance and now I am on her very first New Friend Friday. I hope you will check out her page for me. I would love to reciprocate some of the kindness she has shown to me. Plus in the article I wrote for her page I included one little surprise. I will be starting a new post each week. To find out what it will be you are going to have to go check it out.
I also wanted to take the time to tell you, as my readers, that I am so glad to have you here. I know that I am a new blogger and have made many mistakes. But, thank you for sticking with me. I can’t wait for you to see all I have learned as I implement it throughout my blog. I promise, the best is still yet to come.
